UCL: Thibaut Courtois Names Liverpool Star Who Could Hurt Real Madrid

Ahead of Wednesday’s match between Real Madrid and Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid goalie Thibaut Courtois has praised Mohamed Salah, an attacker for Liverpool.

The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper was responding to the question of which Liverpool player could be a game-changer.

The Belgium international told the Real Madrid Play platform via Mundo Deportivo, “Salah is a special player. He makes the difference at Liverpool; he is very good, and we will have to keep a close eye on him.”

The 32-year-old Egyptian forward has been in sensational form since the start of the ongoing 2024-25 campaign.

He has helped the Reds to sit top of both the Premier League and the Champions League standings so far this season.
