The Umuagom Ugba Afarata Ibeku Development Union in Abia State has taken a bold step towards revitalization with the successful election of new executives.

The election, held at the Umuahia North LGA Judiciary Hall, marked a fresh beginning for the union, ensuring effective leadership and progress.
The keenly contested election was witnessed by representatives from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, as well as Umuahia North LGA officials. Conducted in a free and fair manner, the election process reflected the union’s commitment to democratic principles and unity.
The newly elected executives are:
Mr. Uchenna Ebochuo (Moon) – Chairman
Mr. Ifeanyi Israel – Vice Chairman
Mr. Dan Lewachi – Secretary
Elder Nduka Amajor – Assistant Secretary
Mr. Eberechi Offor – Financial Secretary
Mr. Ehisiemanya Dick – Treasurer
Mr. Chimaroke Okoronkwo – Public Relations Officer
Mr. Sunday Ezebiro – Chief Provost
Mr. Ikechukwu Anyanwu – Assistant Provost
This new leadership team is expected to steer the union toward growth, tackling pressing challenges and fostering development in key areas. Their mandate is to promote unity, enhance community engagement, and drive progressive initiatives that will benefit all members.
