Former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and a chieftain of APC, Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajuruka has reacted to the declaration of Uche Ogah, a former Minister of Mines and Steel Development as the authentic governorship candidate of the party in Abia, saying the judiciary has restored him in the mind of the people.
The court invalidated the nomination of Ikechi Emenike as the party’s governorship candidate in the state.
Speaking with ABN TV on Friday in Abuja, Ohajuruka said the people of the state have been waiting for Ogah, saying the will of God will prevail in Abia.
“Most importantly, to ensure fairness, equity and justice in the state, the governorship of Abia should ordinarily be the prerogative of people from Abia North senatorial district” he said.
While congratulating Ogah on his victory, Ohajuruka prayed for God’s guidance upon Ogah and people of Abia.
Describing Abia as an APC state, he expressed hope that the party will win the governorship election in Abia.
