Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah is leading in the ongoing collation of result from the direct governorship primary election of APC in Abia, ABN TV reports.
The party on Thursday conducted a direct primary election to vote a governorship candidate in the 184 wards in the state.
At the collation of result at APC secretariat at Azikiwe road in Umuahia, the former Minister was leading six other aspirants who contested the election with a clear margin.
As at the moment of this report, he was leading in the nine local governments declared so far.
In Umunneochi, Ogah polled a total of 3760 votes to beat his closest rival, Paul Ikonne who scored 465.
In Isialangwa North, he polled 4578 while Paul Ikonne came a distant second with 810 votes. وليام هيل
In Ugwunagbo, Aba North and Bende Ogah polled 1220, 4697 and 20720 respectively to beat Emeka Atuma with 370 votes, Paul Ikonne with 469 and 1114 votes respectively.
In Isuikwuato, Ogah scored a total of 23943 votes to defeat his closest rival, Paul Ikonne with 41 votes.
In Arochukwu and Ohafia, Ogah polled 800, 19618 respectively while Paul Ikonne scored 100.
In Ikwuano, Ogah scored 1733 to beat Emeka Atuma with 1021 votes. 365 bet
