Uche Ogah Congratulates Deputy Speaker Kalu On National Honor

Former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has congratulated Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu on his conferment with the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).

Ogah praised Kalu’s exemplary public service and commitment to Nigeria’s development, particularly his effective representation of Abia State.

In a heartfelt message, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah (CON), has extended his warm congratulations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, on his conferment with the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). President Bola Tinubu confirmed the award during his October 1st nationwide broadcast celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Dr. Ogah, a recipient of the same honour, praised Benjamin Kalu’s relentless commitment to public service, noting that the CON award is a recognition of Kalu’s past contributions and a call to further responsibilities in nation-building. “With every sense of joy, I congratulate you on your conferment with this national honour. This recognition is a reflection of your dedication to Nigeria’s legislative process and the welfare of our people, particularly the citizens of Abia State,” Ogah stated.

Ogah, who has held several key positions in Nigeria’s public and private sectors, emphasized Benjamin Kalu’s proven track record in public office, adding that the honour will undoubtedly motivate him to continue providing effective representation in the House of Representatives. “Your leadership in law-making has brought significant contributions to Nigeria’s legislative process.
