Two Killed In Suspected Herdsmen Attack In Benue

Two individuals were reportedly killed earlier today in a suspected herdsmen attack along the Uikpam–Umenger road near Uikpam town in Benue State.

The incident occurred in Guma Local Government Area, a hotspot for frequent clashes in recent times.

Eyewitnesses said the victims were attacked while traveling on the largely deserted road, which has become known for repeated violence.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the attack.
