A devastating accident occurred today, at Azikiwe Road Umuahia, Abia State, just in front of PrimeCare Hospital, when a truck fully loaded with soft drinks lost control and rolled back, crushing a parked Mercedes Benz.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck’s driver experienced brake failure, and the vehicle began rolling backward with considerable speed. Fortunately, the Mercedes Benz driver was not inside the vehicle at the time, having stepped out to make a purchase.

ABN TV visited the scene and observed the extensively damaged Mercedes Benz, which was parked behind the truck.
The Nigerian Police traffic wardens has taken control of the incident, and no casualties have been reported.
While the accident was severe, resulting in the Mercedes Benz being crushed beyond repair, it is a relief that no lives were lost.
The incident serves as a reminder to always prioritize safety on the roads and to be prepared for unexpected situations.
