Transfer: Jules Kounde Reveals Reason He Snubbed Chelsea For Barcelona

Jules Kounde, a recent addition to Barcelona, has insisted that the reason he chose the club over Chelsea is because of their “ambitious project.”

Kounde recently moved from Sevilla to Barcelona this summer.

The Frenchman had the choice between playing for Chelsea and Barcelona, but he chose Camp Nou.

The 23-year-old center-back acknowledged that Chelsea was a real option during his press conference.

“I had the chance to go to Chelsea, but I chose Barcelona because they have an ambitious project,” Kounde said as quoted by Marca.
