Tinubu, Soludo Meet To Discuss Democracy, Security, And Economic Reforms

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his meeting with Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, centered on deepening democracy, strengthening security, and advancing ongoing economic reforms.

In a statement on his official X handle on Wednesday, Tinubu described Soludo as “a friend of over two decades,” adding that both leaders share a vision for progressive governance.

“We discussed the bold reforms underway, the need to stay the course, and the importance of tackling insecurity through decisive action and inclusive opportunities for our youth,” Tinubu said.

The president reaffirmed his willingness to work with all states committed to human, social, and economic development, stressing, “Nigeria’s progress is strongest when we work together.” He also pledged to continue pursuing sustainable and shared prosperity for the nation’s future.
