Tinubu, Shettima, Akpabio In Attendance As APC NEC Meeting Begins In Abuja

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are currently attending the 14th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The session is being held at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting began around 2:10 p.m. and is being attended by key figures of the ruling party, including state governors, former governors, National Assembly leaders, and prominent founding and senior members of the APC.

Among the notable attendees are Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.

Also present are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma; the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; along with several other state governors.

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and acting APC National Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori are also in attendance.

Other early arrivals at the meeting include former Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Hon. James Faleke, Senators Adams Oshiomhole and Ned Nwoko, as well as the governors of Lagos, Niger, Kogi, and Cross River states.

A key item on the agenda is the swearing-in of a new National Chairman for the party.
