The General Manager, Traffic And Indiscipline Management Agency Of Abia State (TIMAAS) Comdr, Bright Chinedu Ikeokwu has dedicated his award as the state traffic manager of the year to governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for his support in the management of traffic in Abia.
Comrade Ikeokwu spoke on Tuesday shortly after receiving his award in Abuja during the 2021 Igbere TV Leadership Excellence award, ABN TV reports.
He noted that the governor has demonstrated commitment in ensuring that Abians move about their normal businesses with minimal traffic hitches.
The General Manager, therefore, pledged to continue to justify the governor’s investment in traffic management, adding that the award will spur him to do more.
He also dedicated the award to his wife whom he said manages his prolonged absence due to the demanding nature of his job.
Comrade Ikeokwu also recognised the immense contribution of officers of TIMAAS in the success the organisation has recorded so far, calling on them not to relent.
