Three Deeper Life Church Members Abducted In Ondo State

Gunmen have reportedly abducted three members of the Deeper Life Bible Church in the Akure North Council Area of Ondo State.

A church member, speaking to reporters in Akure, the state capital, revealed that the victims were kidnapped on Monday evening while returning from a Bible study session in the Kasemola area of Ogbese community.

According to the source, “Three of our members were abducted after Bible study at Kasemola, in Ogbese.” He added that church leaders have mobilized prayer warriors to intercede for the safe return of the kidnapped members.

The incident has been reported to both the police and the Amotekun Corps.

Ondo State Police Command spokesperson, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the abduction and stated that police detectives have launched a manhunt in the surrounding forest areas.

It was further gathered that a joint operation involving police officers and members of the Amotekun Corps is currently underway to locate the kidnappers and ensure the victims’ release.
