The Mandate Movement Commends Gov. Abiodun Over N5bn Palliatives

Pro President Bola Tinubu group, The Mandate Movement (TMM) has commended the governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun for approving the sum of N5bn palliatives in all sectors of the state economy to cushion the effects of the current socio-economic -hardship being experienced by residents of the state and in the country.

The Ogun State Leader of TMM, Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade who gave the commendation in a statement at the weekend also thanked the governor for granting food palliatives for about 300,000 vulnerable households across the three Senatorial districts of the state, and offsetting outstanding deductions to state workers to the tune of N500m monthly.

He said the governor by the act has truly demonstrated that he is a leader who has the welfare of his people at heart.

He encouraged other APC Governors across the South West and other parts of the country to emulate Governor Abiodun and introduce steps that will enhance the livelihoods of the people.

He also commended the national leader of TMM, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku for his giants efforts in supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu in its resolve to leave legacies of outstanding performance in all sectors of the economy.

The state Secretary of The Mandate Movement, Hon Dr Bayo Adenekan also lauded the governor for the initiative which he say will further endear him to the people of Ogun State.

The governor while unveiling the programme further announced N50,000 support for about 27,000 Ogun State students in tertiary institutions across the country, insurance package for 70,000 residents and pregnant women, among other palliatives.
