Terrorists Abduct Two Kaduna APC Women

Bandits kidnapped two women leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State, Hajiya Lami Awarware and Hajiya Haulatu Aliyu.

The women were allegedly kidnapped at the Manini hotspot in Kaduna State’s unstable Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area.

The incident occurred after the women leaders attended the inauguration of the state governor, Senator Uba Sani, in Kaduna on Monday, according to the Chairman of Birnin Gwari Emirate Progressive Union, Ishaq Usman Kasai.

Aside from the two APC leaders, Kasai claimed that the hoodlums kidnapped scores of others.

According to the chairman, the abductors have yet to contact the victims’ relatives or anybody else in the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Katsina State Police Command agents killed two terrorists and released Yahaya Usman, who had been kidnapped by the bandits.

One AK-47 weapon was also retrieved from the terrorists by the operatives.

According to the command’s spokesman, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the incident occurred on Monday at about 3 a.m. in Tani village, Bindawa Local Government Area.

According to a police spokeswoman, agents “engaged the suspected terrorists in a fierce gun duel, successfully foiled the kidnapping attempt, and rescued the victim.”

“In the course of scanning the scene, two bodies of the neutralized suspected terrorist were recovered from the scene. During the investigation, the bodies were later identified to be those of one Sani Kokaya  and Ummara, both of Kaita, Local Government Area of the state, notorious suspected terrorist-bandits and arms smugglers who have been on the command’s wanted list.”
