In a latest development confirmed to ABN TV, the Younger brother of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, and other arrested protesters have been remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre until Friday, October 24, 2025.

According to eyewitness reports, the court did not allow the detainees access to their lawyers, and no legal representation was permitted during their appearance.

Expressing outrage at the situation, Mrs. Kanu lamented what she described as persecution of her family, saying: “At this point, can they just arrest the whole Kanu family at once? I mean, two isn’t enough!”

Observers have described the court’s decision and denial of legal access as a disturbing violation of fundamental rights, raising further questions about the government’s handling of the ongoing #FreeNnamdiKanu protests.
