The leader Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob) Nnamdi Kanu has said he has banned driving in Anambara and Abia states from 11pm to 5am.
Mr. Kanu said this is because of the incessant arrest of citizens in the affected States by the Department of State Services.
Though it is not certain what the IPOB leader and his group are planning to execute, he however noted that the world will shake.
He said his team in Abia was “in a state of shock” for a police officer he accused of being involved in the murder of his parents.
The police AIG at the “Zone 9” camp in Umuahia is Etim Ene Okon.
Mr. Okon took office on Monday, April 19.
Upon resumption of duty, AIG Okon said he is conversant with the zone where he was posted to.
Mr. Okon was the former Commissioner of Police in Abia until 2020 when he was relocated to Abuja.
The zone 9 under Okon consists of Abia, Ebonyi and Imo.
Kanu said he was giving the government 14 days ultimatum to remove Okon and investigate him.
He said that if this was not done, let the Ipob “catch him and his family, may God burn them”.
Speaking about Okon, Kanu said he was ready to defend himself in The Hague.
He told his teammates: “It’s time to die”.
Mr Kanu has said he will not accept elections in Anambra state in 2021.
The state is preparing to hold general elections in Obiano this year.
Kanu said he and his members would not allow elections in Anambra or the polls.
He demanded that they destroy all means of supporting elections in the state.
This is not the first time Kanu has not supported elections in Anambra.
In 2017, Ipob refused to run in the by-elections to elect Anambra state.
In 2019, elections are just a few days away from electing a new Nigerian president as Kanu and his party are set to go to the polls.
At the time, he said, he had reached an “agreement” with politicians.
The Anambra state government said it could not comment on Kanu’s comments when asked by BBC Igbo.
