Supreme Court on Wednesday affirmed Prof. Gregory Ibe the duly elected governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, dismissing the appeal filed by Sir Chikwe Udensi.
The court upheld the judgement of the Appeal Court which held that the May 29, 2022 governorship primary election of APGA in Abia was duly conducted in compliance with relevant laws.
Supreme Court said the primary election that produced Prof. Gregory Ibe was conducted by a representative of the national leadership assigned to hold the primary election.
