Super Eagles Solid Enough To Win 2023 AFCON – Alloy Agu

Former Nigerian international, Alloy Agu says the Super Eagles are solid enough to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Ivory Coast.

Nigeria, who are three-time AFCON champions, are pitted alongside host Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, and Equatorial Guinea in Group A.

However, in a chat with Completesports.com, Agu stated that the Super Eagles are blessed with an array of talents capable of overcoming any opponent at the tournament.

“At this stage, I know the Super Eagles know what is at stake and they will be willing to give it their best shot at the tournament.

” I believe we have the materials and a solid team and it is left for us to harness it together.

“I don’t doubt the ability of the Super Eagles and I pray for a very good outing.”

The tournament, featuring 24 teams, will run from January 13th to February 11th. The top two teams from each group, along with the best four third-placed teams, will progress to the knockout phase.
