Super Eagles Land In Cotonou, Ready For Benin Republic

Nigeria have arrived in Cotonou ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Squirrels of Benin Republic.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to face the Squirrels at the Stade Charles de Gaulle, Porto-Novo on Saturday.

The players and their officials landed in Cotonou on Friday morning after a short boat ride from Lagos.

Gernot Rohr’s men will hold a training session inside the Stade Charles de Gaulle in the evening before their encounter against the Squirrels .

Nigeria top Group L with eight points after four rounds of matches, while Benin are second with seven points.

A draw tomorrow will guarantee the Super Eagles passage to the AFCON to be hosted by Cameroon in January.
