Stakeholders In Abia North Back Sen. Orji Kalu’s Presidential Bid

Members of Abia North Peace Foundation have solicited the support of the North in actualizing the presidential ambition of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in the 2023 Presidential election.

The stakeholders led by the Deputy Director General, Hon. Gabriel Idika Ukairo said for fairness and justice, the South-East zone ought to produce the next president of Nigeria.

He stated, “we are from Abia North senatorial district- the constituency of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Chief Whip of the Senate. For fairness and justice to the South-East geo-political zone of the country, since the current democratic dispensation in Nigeria from 1999 to date, the zone has not been able to have a shot at the presidency. We feel it’s the turn of the zone this time.”

According to him, having already endorsed Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for the 2023 presidential election, ”we have agreed to consult all the geo-political zones in the country for their support including Indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory.

“Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is a patriot and detribalised Nigerian. He will surely make Nigerians proud considering his managerial experience, energetic, focused, ambitious, doggedness, confidence, stability and exemplary leadership style to impact positively on the lives of ordinary Nigerians”

“Kalu has performed superbly as a Senator, businessman and philanthropist. He is the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. We are here to appeal to you to support him and support a Nigerian President from the South East geo-political zone. He is promise keeper and I believe Senator Orji Uzor Kalu won’t disappoint you when he emerge as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.”

“We thank you all for coming and we hope this relationship and friendship will continue for years. For some of us in the FCT, Orji Uzor Kalu is our own and we shall give him all the necessary support to emerge as the next president,” he said.
