SSG, Attorney General, Info Boss Not Affected By SEC Dissolution — Ikpeazu

Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has said the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr Chris Ezem, Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice, Barr Uche Ihediwa, and Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu were not affected by the dissolution of State Executive Council (SEC).

ABN TV had earlier reported that the governor on Saturday approved the dissolution of SEC while also recalling the suspended Chief of Staff, Dr ACB Agbazuere.

In a statement issued by the SSG, Barr Chris Ezem, the three appointees are to remain in office.

They are to work with the recalled Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The statement read, “Further to the earlier announced dissolution of the Body of Commissioners, the Governor has directed that the previous announcement exempts the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Uche Ihediwa, and the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu.

“They are to continue performing the duties of their office along with the Secretary to State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, Chief of Staff, Dr ACB Agbazuere and the Deputy Chiefs of Staff in the Office of the Governor and Deputy Governor”
