Tottenham are reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ with former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte over becoming their new manager.
Spurs have been without a permanent boss since they sacked Jose Mourinho in April, and with the start of the transfer window looming and a new season just around the corner they are in desperate need to appoint somebody soon.
Recent reports have suggested that they have made their former head coach Mauricio Pochettino their No.1 choice, with the Argentinean allegedly keen to leave Paris Saint-Germain and make a sensational return to north London.
But PSG appear unwilling to let him go, and have triggered a clause in his contract which would keep Pochettino with the Ligue 1 club until 2023.

And according to Sky Sport Italy on Wednesday, Spurs are now turning their attentions to Conte, with discussions at an advanced stage.
It is believed that during the meeting Spurs’ potential project for the future was discussed, along with Conte’s salary demands and contract length.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it is looking increasingly likely that Conte could be the next man in the hotseat unless something dramatic changes in Pochettino’s situation.
