The South East caucus of the House of Representatives on Wednesday visited the wife of Late Hon. Ossy Prestige, Mrs. Precious Ossy Prestige to condole with the family over the death of the member representing Aba North/Aba South, describing it as painful and shocking.
The delegation was led by the Leader of the South East Caucus and Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives Hon. Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha also had all the caucus members in attendance as they pay their last respect to the family.
Speaking on behalf of the caucus the Deputy Chief Whip noted that the former lawmaker will be missed at the Green chambers; but will always be remembered by his outstanding contributions, achievements, and the legacies he has left behind as the member who represented the people of Aba South/North Federal Constituency very well.

Hon Onyejeocha further described Late Ossy Prestige as a consummate politician, prominent community leader, and an accomplished federal lawmaker whose dedication to legislative duties, service to God and humanity has positively contributed to the development of the constituency he represented and the country in general; and that as a ranking member of the National Assembly his marks will remain indelible on the sands of time.
“Your late husband’s death was received by all of us with deep shock. He was our brother, a peacemaker, and an experienced lawmaker whose remarkable contributions and dedication was enjoyed by all and sundry”.
Hon Nkeiruka on behalf of the Caucus members prayed to God to grant the soul of Hon Ossy Prestige a peaceful eternal rest and to the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
