South African President, Ramaphosa Sworn-In For Second Term

Ramaphosa was sworn-in for a second term in Pretoria, the South African capital.

The president took his oath of office before Chief Justice of South Africa, Raymond Zondo.

“I Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa swear that I will be faithful to the Republic of South Africa, and will obey, observe, uphold and maintain the Constitution and all other law of the Republic,” the 71-year-old said.

His swearing-in witnessed dignitaries from all over Africa and the world including President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
