Soldier Arrested In Adamawa For Raping 4-Year-Old Minor

A soldier identified as Bulama Salish has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor.

Salish is attached to 23 Brigade SP BN in the Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

He was nabbed for allegedly defiling a four-year-old girl who is said to be the daughter of a man identified only as Mallam Abubakar in Adamawa State.

The accused sergeant according to a leaked signal has been locked up in 23 Brigade SP BN custody upon which further action would be taken.

The signal read, “As of 181800 on July 2022. Rape case,97na/45/7383 SSGT Bulama Salisu frm 232bn attached to 23bde SP BN Maiha, raped one (name withheld) 4 years old daughter to one Mallam Abubakar.

“SNCO has been apprehended and locked up in 23bde SP BN custody for further action, Pls ack.”

This is not the first time a soldier would be arrested for defiling a minor. In September 2019, an army corporal was dismissed and sentenced to five years in prison by a military court martial after he was found guilty of defiling a 13-year-old girl in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

In August 2019, lance corporal, Sunday Adelola of the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army was dismissed for raping a 300-level student of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State.
