Sir Udensi, Prof. Ibe Emerge APGA Guber Candidates At Parallel Primaries In Abia

Interpol Systems Consultant, Sir Chikwe Udensi was at the weekend declared winner at APGA governorship primary election in Abia.

This is even as the founder Gregory University Uturu, Prof. Gregory Ibe was declared winner at another governorship election of the party.

While Sir Udensi was declared winner at indirect primary which took place at Villa Roy hotels Umuahia the State Capital by the returning officer, Prince Ukonu on Sunday, Prof. Ibe came first following a direct primary election which took place in the 184 wards in the 17 local government areas of the state by the returning officer, Mr Echezona Etiaba.

Ibe was declared winner at the collation Centre, Kolping Society Umuahia.

Sir Udensi was returned unopposed after a total number of 433 delegates voted for him.

Sir Udensi’s election was monitored by INEC officer, Mr Bestman Okereke.

Other contestants who participated in the election include, Major Gen Ijioma N. Ijioma and Etigwe Uwa (SAN).

According to Udensi, the outcome of the election is a reflection of the total will of the people of Abia State.

He said he will not let the people down and will push forward to win the election to make Abia better.

He vowed to ensure APGA takes over power come 2023 and won’t disappoint the state.

I will transform Abia, make everyone happy and make it a better place”.

He also assured that he will always reach out to the other aspirants to see that they move the state forward.
