All is now set for the commissioning of Enyimba Automated Shoe Company (ENASCO) by the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, and the former governor of Abia state and Senate Chief Whip, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.
The project was initiated and completed by the governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led administration in Abia state as part of efforts to stimulate local manufacturing of shoes for local consumption and export.
Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem in a statement made available to ABN TV on Tuesday said the project commissioning will take place on Thursday 11th November, 2021at ENASCO Premises, Obikabia, Obingwa LGA by 11.am prompt.
