Chief  Whip of the Senate and former  Governor of Abia state, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Monday night received in audience the Majority leader of House of Representatives Hon. Alhassan Doguwa, his colleague and member of the House of Representatives Hon. Sani Maruf at his Aso Villa residence, Abuja.

He also received the former Minister of Aviation during the President Olusegun Obasanjo government, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode  who recently joined the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC ) and his new wife, Nerita Kayode.

Speaking during the visit, Fani-kayode recounted the friendship ties with Kalu which spans over 40 years . He said his decision to join Kalu’s party, the APC is a right one and the best way to move the country forward.

In his reaction, Kalu thanked Fani-kayode and his wife for the visit,  he said he has always asked him to join the APC and he is glad he eventually did.
