Sen. Kalu’s Victory Happy, Great Day For People Of Bende — Rep Ben Kalu

Member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has reacted to the victory of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu at federal high court Abuja where Justice Inyang Ekwo barred EFCC from retrying Kalu, ABN TV reports.

Hon. Kalu who doubles as Spokesperson of House of Representatives says the victory is long awaited, adding that it is a happy and great day for people of Bende, Sen. Kalu’s local government.

In a Facebook post shortly after the judgment, Hon. Benjamin Kalu says the court order that Sen. Kalu should not be retried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over a case he had been previously tried and justice dispensed is freedom from all attempts to clip his wings.

His congratulatory message partly reads, “A Happy Day for Nde Bende . Finally the long awaited victory is here to stay . A great day for Bende people and true lovers of justice .
