Sen. Kalu Takes Desks, Writing Materials To Umunneochi School [PHOTOS]

Senator representing Abia North and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has provided numerous desks and writing materials for Eziama Nneato primary school in Umunneochi Local Government Area of the State.

This is in addition to 3-seater desks earlier donated to schools in Bende local government area of the state, ABN TV reports.

Recall that after the Abia North Senator made a delivery of 80 three-seater writing desks to pupils of Ezi Igbere community School, Igbere in Bende L.G.A, the Senator made a similar gesture to Okoko Item Central Primary School in Bende as part of efforts to effectively represent his constituency.

The visibly happy pupils and their teachers could not hide their feelings as they sang beautiful renditions in appreciation of Sen. Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip.

The items were delivered by Sen. Kalu’s Legislative Assistant, Barr Mbila Uma Ayi on Tuesday and received by top management staff of the school.

This gesture is in continuation of the distribution of Educational materials to Schools in Abia North as part of Senator Kalu’s policy to facilitate and provide a conducive academic environment for Abia North pupils and teachers.

It was gathered that in the coming weeks, upon the completion of the exercise in Bende, the focus will be shifted to another local government in the senatorial district.
