Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has congratulated his daughter, Barr. Neya Kalu on her first anniversary as the Publisher/Chairman, The Sun Publishing Limited.
Sen. Kalu in a felicitation message on behalf of his family and people of Abia North Senatorial District, which he represents in the Senate praised Barr. Kalu for successfully piloting the affairs of the foremost media company which hit the newsstand in early 2000s.
The Sun Publishing company is publisher of the titles, Daily Sun, Saturday Sun, Sunday Sun, Sporting Sun and others.
The federal lawmaker in the felicitation message he personally endorsed said Barr. Neya has in the last one year raised the tempo of leadership in the company, steering to weathering challenges confronting the sector.
The message reads in part, “When you assumed the role of Publisher/Chairman of The Sun Publishing Limited, we trusted in your ability and capacity.
“The fact that the company has remained relevant in the publishing industry despite the turbulence in the sector has justified your involvement”.
Sen. Kalu also wished her more success in coming years.
