Cristiano Ronaldo, a striker for Al Nassr, has asserted that the Saudi Pro League is superior to the Major League Soccer (MLS).
Ronaldo’s remarks come just days after his lifelong rival Lionel Messi agreed to join Inter Miami.
Messi departed PSG as a free agent this summer, turning down a move to Saudi Arabia, where he would have rekindled his rivalry with Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, feels he made the wiser decision, citing the fact that players are flocking to the Middle East as proof.
“Saudi league is better than MLS.
“I opened the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players are coming here,” Ronaldo said.
