Fubara highlighted community policing’s crucial role in reducing crime rates. People know who’s behind the crime; let’s work with them to bring peace, he said. The governor assured CP Bala of his administration’s full support, advocating for a “fresh start” prioritizing Rivers’ interests. “If Rivers is safe, everyone’s safe,” he emphasized.

In his second week as commissioner, CP Bala expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and pledged to maintain peace in Rivers State through collaborative efforts with the Fubara administration.

This show of support aligns with Governor Fubara’s efforts to enhance security and welfare in Rivers State. He previously approved a new minimum wage of N85,000 for civil servants and donated operational vehicles to police units.
