Return To God’s Mind Solution To Nigeria’s Challenges — Clergy

As the country grapples with security and economic challenges, a Clergy, Patrick Akobi has said respite may not be in sight unless the country returns to the mind of God.

According to the Senior Pastor Fresh Fire Assembly New Nyanya Nasarawa State, Nigeria has for long neglected God’s mind, vainly straying in human mind which he said has further thrown the country into several challenges that has impeded her growth and development.

Speaking in Abuja on Saturday at the public presentation of the book The Mind Of God authored my Mr. Edward Akobi, the Clergy said the country’s quest for greatness may not receive a significant boost unless deliberate efforts are made to search and understand the mind of God concerning the country.

“We can only get out of where we are by going back to the days of holiness, the days when countries listen to the men of God. If Nigeria is truly in search for solution, we must return to men of God.

“We must return back to the church and understand the mind of God concerning the nation. People are dying, others expressing concern that a lot of things are going wrong, the solution is not far-fetched. Before a President is sworn in, efforts should be made to find out what the mind of God is, because in every organisation, the Satan has an agenda which is to distabilise humanity.

“In knowing the mind of God to make the country stable, we must find out from those that are called and those God speaks to. We must embrace holiness and get closer to God” he added.

In her comment, the Chairman Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Abuja chapter, Halima Usman commended the author, Mr. Edward Akobi for coming up with the work which she described as masterpiece.

While applauding him for ensuring a peaceful and harmonious home that provided the conducive atmosphere for writing of the 85 page motivational book of 12 chapters, Usman remarked that years of research prior to production of the work has worth the while.

She also prayed for more divine inspiration upon the author, assuring that the chapter will continue to offer the needed support for all members both in quality of work and projection to the larger society.

The book reviewer, Sir Ike Peters, an author himself described it as highly scriptural and loaded with sound philosophy, saying it is apt and timely especially at a period when greater members of the society seem to have abandoned God’s mind to instead follow the mind of human.

While recommending the book to all who seek knowledge, he added that it is a must-read to teachers and preachers of the word, students of the scriptures and all who seek the face of God, saying it is an embodiment of a simplified reality.

Royal Father of the day, Hon. Nzeh Chris Okoro urged Nigerians to maintain the right relationship with God to reap the blessings that abound in such decision.

According to Hon. Okoro, the book is a great motivator to troubled souls who are faced with various life difficulties and a reminder to Christians especially those whose faith are being challenged that God’s mind is the ultimate in their lives.

The author, Mr. Edward Akobi said the motivation to pen down The Mind Of God arose from the concern that people tend to live life the way they desire instead of walking in God’s direction.

Maintaining that he was prompted to writing the book through the leading of God, Mr. Akobi said his desire is to see that generations will begin to retrace their steps back to the ways of God, adding that God does not change even though the world changes.

Quoting from the book of Isaiah, he noted that God’s plan for every man is His mind concerning such individual.

“Things are changing in the world but God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So while we are changing and moving with the changes in the world, God is still the same. He has not changed. So that is what led me to dishing out this inspiration to this generation so that they can retrace their step back to the ways of God” he said.
