The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA candidate for Umuahia North in the forthcoming local government election in Abia State, Raymond Ofoegbu has advised Governor Alex Otti and the 2023 presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi to abandon LP and rejoin APGA.
Ofoegbu who spoke to FLO FM in Umuahia on Wednesday, said Peter Obi and Governor Alex Otti’s political interests would be best protected in APGA if they return to the party before the 2027 polls.
“At a critical time like this when betrayal has become the order of the day, I am still putting my voice to call upon Peter Obi and Alex Otti to return to APGA and have a smooth ride in 2027.

“The fight is against them. I don’t know why they are not seeing it”, the APGA man said.
Ofoegbu who alleged that the ruling APC is responsible for the crisis in the Labour Party and PDP to weaken the opposition ahead of the next election, maintained that both Obi and Otti as former APGA members would strengthen the party and return it to winning ways if they agreed to abandon their present party and rejoin APGA.
