Member House of Representatives-elect Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa has congratulated the people of his constituency as the Christian community marks Good Friday ahead of Easter celebration.
In a goodwill message on Friday, he urged the people of the Constituency and Abians in general to use this solemn day of Good Friday to take a moment to reflect on the immense sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind.
He said, “As we commemorate the crucifixion, let us remember the profound love and grace that God has shown us through His gift of His only son.

“Good Friday reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice made by Christ to atone for our sins and reconcile us with God. It reminds us of the transformative power of selflessness, forgiveness, and compassion.
“May we find comfort in knowing that Christ’s sacrifice was not in vain, and that we are redeemed through His blood. May this day remind us of the importance of humility, gratitude, and faith in the face of adversity.
“Wishing you all a blessed Good Friday, and may the spirit of Christ’s love and sacrifice continue to guide and uplift us in our lives.”
