Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has been shortlisted as a nominee for induction into the Most Valuable Parliamentarian Hall of Fame. He is one of forty national parliamentarians shortlisted from the 469 National Assembly members of the 9th Assembly.
In a letter informing him of the nomination, the organisers, Order Paper Nigeria and a cluster of Civil Societies in Nigeria, stated that Onuigbo qualified under the criterion of “impact of Bills index (cross-cutting and intergenerational).” Nominees were chosen on the basis of being excellence-inspired, performance-driven, and public-spirited.
The onboarding of the nominees will be marked at an “Evening of Sparkles” scheduled to hold on July 14, 2022.
