The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has congratulated his constituents at the celebration of the new year, expressing optimism that it “offers a lot of hope to us as a people”.
Rep. Onuigbo who is also the APC candidate for Abia Central senatorial district in the upcoming election reiterated his readiness to continually offer accessible and responsive representation to the people if elected into Senate.
“As a representative of Ikwuano/Umuahia and an aspiring representative of Abia Central, I will continue to drive for Effective, Accessible and Responsive representation. My plea is that you work with me to actualise this vision”, he said in a goodwill message on Tuesday.

He expressed happiness that construction work has again commenced on the Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene federal road after funding issue that slowed down work was sorted out.
“This is an example of how God will remove all our obstacles and place us on the path of irreversible greatness this new year.
“2023 will be a great year. Best believe that”, he stated.
