The Member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu on Sunday worshipped at Dodos Memorial Methodist Church Uzuakoli Diocese where he received blessings from the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. James Anyanwu.
Rep. Kalu also took the second Bible reading during the worship.
Addressing the congregation, he expressed gratitude to God for keeping him strong in delivering his mandate as part of his contribution to the development of his Constituency as he assured them in 2019.
The lawmaker expressed gratitude to the Methodist Church for their prayers and support since his resumption adding that he went to the National Assembly to also represent the Church and so far he has not put them to shame.
He thanked the Diocesan Leadership for the work they do to sustain the house of God and his people.
Rep. Kalu further assured the congregation that he is unshaken in his resolve to continue to strive for the development of the constituency, adding that the grace that enabled him to begin the good works will sustain him to continue to solve the challenges of Bende people.
The Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. James Anyanwu while receiving the Representative prayed for God’s protection, blessings and guidance to continue his good works at the House of Representatives.
