Hon. Amobi Ogah, Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, has strongly condemned the attack on Representative Ginger Onwusibe’s motorcade in Abia State, which sadly claimed the life of a dedicated security aide.
The ambush by unidentified gunmen occurred on Sunday night at Ubakala junction, Umuahia South Local Government Area. Fortunately, Rep. Onwusibe was not in the vehicle at the time of the attack.
Ogah emphasized the need for a swift and thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice, highlighting the importance of ensuring the safety and security of leaders and their teams.
He also urged authorities to take immediate action to prevent such senseless violence from happening again.
In his statement, Ogah warned perpetrators to stay away from Abia State, referring to it as “God’s own State.” He also extended his condolences to the family of the victim, the police hierarchy, and the Abia State government.
