Rep 2023: Youth Empowerment, Education, Infrastructure, Others Top In Daniel Okeke’s Agenda

The candidate of APC for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State in 2023 general elections, Dr. Daniel Okeke has listed youth empowerment and employment, quality education and infrastructural development as top in his agenda if elected to the House of Representatives next year.

Also listed are, women empowerment, care for the aged and elderly, and effective health care delivery system.

“In promoting the interest of the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia, we need someone who is loyal, faithful, well advanced and well experienced, someone who can bring in sustainable development and quality representation in the constituency.

“Dr Daniel Okeke is not only a trailblazer but a force to reckon with, sustainability in development and quality representation is really assured with Dr Daniel Okeke” the Express Concerns MD said on Friday in a release signed by his Special Assistant, Media and Publicity Oti Maduabuchi Orieji.

Under his youth empowerment and employment agenda the media aide said, “Dr. Daniel Okeke will push for massive employment of our youths in all tiers of government parastatal and non government organisations through intense lobbying and negotiations. He will also source for and provide Financial aids & grants to support small businesses in the constituency.

“He will create a robust system to encourage artist & creatives youths to show case their talents through Musical, Arts exhibitions and Sport festivals.

“He will create Skills Acquisition programs, IT training, Seminars that will benefit the youths.”

In education, the media aide said Chief Okeke, a businessman and humanitarian will provide Scholarship schemes, construct new schools, renovate dilapidated classrooms & equip every school with up-to-date learning facilities. This he said will create a conducive environment for learning.

Additionally, he will be “Organising seminars and topnotch educational & impactful programmes. He will lobby and pressure relevant agencies of Government and Collaborate with them to provide Qualitative Education. Encourage and Facilitate Adults Education. Training and retraining of teachers, provision of latest and relevant materials and continuous career guides to students at all levels,” the release said further.

On infrastructure, “He will push for Federal government presence in our constituency through Infrastructural developments; roads, schools and social amenities for our communities through strategic lobbying and personal network. He will attract and lobby institutions to bring Capital Projects to our constituency as part of their CSR.

“Building of hospitals in Rural and Urban areas and provision of affordable healthcare facilities to our rural and urban dwellers to improve the quality of life and standard of living,” the statement said further.
