Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole is in ecstatic mood following the club’s 2-1 victory over Sporting Lagos in a Nigeria Premier Football League matchday clash on Sunday.
The Sky Blues rallied to win the game after Jonathan Alukwu gave Sporting Lagos the lead on 21 minutes.
Franck Mawuena restored parity for Remo Stars before Sikiru Alimi netted the winning goal from the spot.
Bankole celebrated the win on his Official X handle.
“Victory feeling we secured the bragging right in the Southwest derby, Thank God. We will meet again Sporting Lagos,” the post read.
Remo Stars secured top position on the NPFL table following the win.
Daniel Ogunmodede’s side will travel to Enyimba for their next game on Sunday, October 29.
