It was a scene of joy and excitement as a foremost philanthropic organisation Don Lulu Foundation on Wednesday held its 2020 children’s Christmas party in Umuahia in grand style.
The participants also parted with different kinds of gifts ranging from toy cars, eyeglasses, exercise books, toy guns, balloons, and lots more.
ABN TV reports that the annual event is organised to put smiles on the faces of children especially to further mitigate the effect of COVID-19 on children and their parents/wards.
The children also participated in different games including dancing, singing competitions as well as egg rowling.
In a chat with one of the organizers of the event and the coordinator of Don Lulu Foundation, Mrs. Emileda Amadigwu said “Don Lulu Foundation is basically for humanity and because we are interested in humanity we realize that this Covid, its effect is much more on children, it’s a strange situation for them and this time is a time of sharing and so we deem it fit that this is a time that for us to throw a party for children in Abia state for them to come around and relax”.
The children expressed their gratitude to God and prayed that God almighty will continue to bless and keep Don Lulu.
