PUMECO Chairman, Sir Ezeanyagu Congratulates Abia Speaker On Sun Newspaper Award, Says It’s Recognition For Selfless Service

The Chairman, PUMECO Construction Company Nigeria Limited, Sir Paul Ezeanyagu (KSJI)KSS has congratulated the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji on his Public Service Award by the Sun Publishing Ltd, publishers of The Sun Newspaper title.

Sir Ezeanyagu says the award is the recognition of the Speaker’s sagacity at providing leadership in the House not only for the growth and development of Abians but for the enrichment of our country’s democracy.

In a congratulatory letter on Saturday to the Speaker and obtained by ABN TV, he said the Speaker has brought maturity into leadership of the House which has enhanced a harmonious relationship between the Legislature and Executive arms of government as well as between members of the Assembly irrespective of political differences.

That the state is progressively on a journey towards actually the dreams of its founding fathers is a byproduct of collective efforts. Thankfully, the legislature as critical arm of government cannot be extricated from this progress being recorded.

“The atmosphere of calm, cooperation and people-oriented service you have created has made our state not to witness a rancourous relationship between the Legislature and Executive arms of government.

“As one who has heart for the weak and downtrodden, you have at your personal capacity reached out to restore hope to families, individuals and communities.
