Property Worth Millions Of Naira Damaged As Fire Guts Bovibes Studio Umuahia (Photos + Video)

Early morning fire on Monday at Bovibes Entertainment’s photo studio located at Aguiyi Ironsi Layout, off Azikiwe Street in Umuahia, Abia State capital has led to destruction of property worth millions of Naira.

The company’s General Manager, Renald Alaibe  who spoke with ABN TV said a distress call was received at about 7:49 from neighbours, alerting on a fire outbreak on the studio.

He said officials of the state Fire Service arrived the scene though belatedly and made efforts to bring the fire under control.

Alaibe said the photo studio and the training hall were fatally affected where several equipment used for production were damaged.

On the possible cause of the fire outbreak, Alaibe noted that a suspected high electricity voltage, which led to a spark in the electrical installations in the studio may have caused the fire.

He further stated that a janitorial officer assigned to clean the studio had finished his daily routine and went away with the key, making it difficult for firemen to access to burning studio upon their arrival.

He expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost at the inferno while he pleaded for support to replace the damaged items.
