The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri has condoled with the Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the loss of its gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Eleazar Ikonne.
Okpokiri, who noted that the unfortunate incident occurred at a very critical time in the life of the party, prayed God to grant repose to the soul of erudite scholar.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Okpokiri disclosed that his Campaign Council had decided to suspend its campaigns until further notice in solidarity with the Abia PDP.
