Prince Okafor Congratulates Prof. Kalu On Appointment As SSG In Abia

Prince Ike Okorafor has congratulated the newly appointed Secretary to State Government in Abia State, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, saying his appointment is well deserved and an indication that Abia is heading to a new direction.

In a message on Wednesday to felicitate with the SSG, Prince Okafor further said the government has by this appointment demonstrated its willingness and commitment towards a new Abia.

The newly inaugurated state governor, Dr. Alex Otti had barely 24 hours after his swearing-in made key appointments, with Prof. Kalu given the portfolio of the SSG.

The felicitation message reads in part, “In all fairness, your appointment is a testimony that the new government in Abia State is committed to changing the narrative by engaging seasoned technocrats and accomplished academics with track records and global exposures into government.

“I am particularly happy because change indeed has come to Abia State“, he stated.

Prince Okafor also commended the governor, Dr. Alex Otti for what he called skillful appointment.

Your appointment is an indicator that the new government is committed to assembling capable men and women with the critical skills and expertise to revitalize the state and make it work again.

“It also signifies that the new government will reward hard work based on merit. Again, it shows that the new government will deliver on her promises to make Abia a better place and truly the number one state indeed.

“I am very optimistic that your academic background, professional experience, and exposure have made you a great asset to the new government.

“Your appointment is indeed suitable & appropriate. I have no doubt, you will deliver and make Abians proud, and I wish you the very best”, he concluded.
