Presidential Elections: List Of States Won By Atiku, Tinubu, Obi

Early on Wednesday morning, Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, was proclaimed the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.

At the International Collation Center in Abuja, Tinubu’s victory was declared by INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

According to Yakubu, Tinubu received 8,794,726 votes in total, defeating Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, who received 6,101,533 votes, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, both of whom were Tinubu’s closest competitors and candidates for the PDP.

Now, Tinubu will succeed President Buhari.

The presidential election was held nationwide on Saturday, as monitored by ABNTv.
