Peter Obi
The Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate has urged his followers and all Nigerians to maintain calm.
At the Asaba airport in Delta State on Tuesday morning, the former governor of Anambra made the appeal.
Peter Obi, who was headed to Abuja, was questioned by a passenger on the same flight.
“We should remain calm, consistent, and persistent,” the flagbearer said.
“All we are asking for is good governance. Let the government care for the poor people.”
Peaceful demonstrations are taking place in various areas of the nation as voters complain of tampered results, overvoting, and disenfranchisement.
Peter Obi is now in third place after Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
