Tinubu’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale issued a statement expressing condolences to the Cameroonian Football Federation, the Cameroonian people, and the African football community.
He acknowledged the iconic football administrator’s death as a great loss, emphasizing his contributions to the sport’s growth in Africa and beyond.
Hayatou served as acting President of FIFA, the world’s governing organization for football.
